Jero, a 26 year old, young black man from Pittsburgh who they say "...has become the hottest import to hit Japan since "Ma-ku-do-na-ru-do (McDonald’s)". LOL
Jero sings a form of Japanese music called "Enka", and many are immediately taken back by the appearance that doesn't fit your average Japanese Enka singer LOL.
Born Jerome Charles White, Jr. and known best as Jero Day was raised by a half-black, half-Japanese mother and a black father. Jero grew up honoring both cultural traditions.
He has already released his first mini-album, on June 25th, and has been topping of Japanese music charts ever since.
